NEWS: new projects on Only Music Saves.

New projects - sounds a bit scary, but only for me. You, as I think and I hope, you're just curious about it. I want to start with two projects: music expert and new face. Two different things, but I think that we can do something really cool with it. Of course together.
You can always write to me with your opinions or messages, not only as a comment under every note, but also in any other way - more about it you can find here.
Ok, so maybe a few words about these project.

If you know some great artist / song [known, little-known or unknown] and you want to talk about it and share with your opinion with others, this project is for you. Write to me and become a music expert in my new project on OnlyMusicSaves for a few seconds and show the World what you love.
I will be really glad that I will be able to talk with you a bit about your favourite music and then share your words with other people.
I'm sure that you have some music diamonds, smaller or bigger, and I'm sure that many people would like to get to know them, to listen to something new and just judge is it for them.
As you remember, or maybe not, I already put here one note with a short interview with a lovely girl, Nina. She told us a bit about Tim Bendzko, a German musician. You can read the whole post here.
So who will be next?

…and be a part of Only Music Saves!

If you are an artist, a singer or a band [known, little-known or unknown] and you want to tell about yourself and show your work to the World - send me a message. It will be so great to write about you and share it with others.
I'm always very happy when I can write about someone, share her/his/their work and just help the real talents to become known, no matter if we're talking about other country or just about the whole World. It's always great to talk about something new.
Who wants to be my next artist of the day or music of the day?

Song of the day : "Home" by Darren Campbell.

Guess what... Today is the day of the premiere of new song - "Home" by remarkable Darren Campbell. Who is excited as I to hear something new recorded by him?

Darren Campbell is a young and talented singer and songwriter from Dundee [Scotland], who is singing his own songs and also covers of other musicians. He released one EP "Days To Come" [September 2012] and a few singles f.e.: "Find My Way" [January 2012], "Growing Apart" [February 2013], "Remember You" [July 2013]. His music is a mix of pop, indie, folk and acoustic.
You can read more about Darren and also his misuc on his pages: Facebook, YouTube, Tumblr, Twitter, Bandcamp, iTunes, Soundcloud, Spotify.

Also you can find more about Darren and his music in my previous post here.

*

At first, I just have to say it:

Darren - you did it again, you made another great song. Great job! Thank you for it.

Ok, maybe that's crazy or maybe not, but when he already has a new song, I knew it will be something good, before I listen to it. Why? Because I know that Darren makes only perfect music. And after the first seconds I knew that this is it. This is just brilliant. Again.

I could say "I feel summertime in the air" and I think it would be a truth because when you listen to "Home" you feel all these nice emotions and you feel...freedom. Yes, I think it's a good description of this song. But of course, maybe for some of you think, that I'm talking something wrong. I'm sure that if you will listen to this song, "Home", you will exactly know about what I'm talking now.

You know, something good is in this song, that every sound makes you happy somehow and you just want to play it again and again and again. And that's really great.

"Home" is a great mix of pop, folk and of course a bit of acoustic, what makes an amazing atmosphere. Music and also lyrics are just excellent, as always of course. We can find here nice music with power inside, music what makes that you want to sing, to dance, to feel this positive energy.

In my opinion there is nothing bad, wrong or something like that. As for me this song is just perfect. Perfect, if you want to listen to pure and real music.
Try it. Just click "play" and feel it. I'm sure that you will be smiling and you will be feeling better and that "Home" will make your day [or even a week or the month] happier. Trust me.
So, are you ready?

If you like this song, show him some love and share this song with your friends and/or with other people. Tell the World about this awesome song and of course about Darren.

Anyway, I can't wait for more music by him. I know that it will be the same great (or even better) and unique.

NEWS...from The Shrugs.

And finally we got some news from nice guys, Jamie and Ollie, from great band The Shrugs.
Who's missing them too?

THE SHRUGS UPDATE -

Hello beautiful people. We apologise for the delay in providing you with news!

We have both underestimated how time-consuming our final semester of uni would be, so we have had to push back our original release date for our upcoming album DIVERSIONS. We have no exact release date planned right now, but we finish university in just over a month and we plan to continue working on it straight away! When we know the release date, we will let you know. So you hopefully won't have too long to wait. If all goes according to plan, we will be releasing the upcoming CD with London-based record label 'FOOF Records' - something we are very excited about.

We will soon post up a new song from our series of 'Homemade Leftovers', demo songs which we have recorded in Jamie's flat, songs which didn't make our original 'Crossroads' EP but we want to share with you regardless. For those who haven't heard it, here was the first in the series (which was used as the soundtrack for short film 'found.') - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqNgen2gk2I

Finally, we have a few gig dates coming up for you -

FRIDAY 14th MARCH - The New Inn, St Andrews (7-10pm)
FRIDAY 28th MARCH - Westport, Dundee (6-9pm)
FRIDAY 11th APRIL - The New Inn, St Andrews (7-10pm)
FRIDAY 2nd MAY - Westport, Dundee (9-midnight)

We will let you know when more are confirmed. As for now, keep listening to the Crossroads EP (You can listen to all of the tracks on YouTube). New material coming very soon! As always, we appreciate your support.

                                                         The Shrugs       [X]

So now I think we must wait a bit...for more news and music by them.

NEWS: Darren Campbell / RHYME / Bad Cardigan / Oblyvion / The Shiver / NIN / other news

Today I've a few more or less important news, but as always very interesting. Let's start!

Darren Campbell

Yes, Darren Campbell has a new song Out of Reach. As for me is really amazing and the same good as previous, maybe even better. I think you really have to listen to it and just feel real music.
You can find this song here: [X] - enjoy.

RHYME

Do you want to check calmer side of the band? Check their new video to song Step Aside in acoustic version here: [X] and be surprise. Trust me, you will be. Also watch their last music video to Party Right here: [X]  \m/

Bad Cardigan

Jack Anwyl & Tom Randall still on tour! Badly that only in UK, but good for them that they've new concerts almost non-stop. In November you will be able to see them here:

And a few words about their show from 28th November [X]:

Regrettably, the gig we had planned for 28th November at Bakers Vaults, has had to be postponed for some reason. All being well it should be re-scheduled for 2014.

I'm looking for some new date of their shows and of course I'll put them here, as soon as possible.

Oblyvion

Oblyvion, band from Italy has a new shows in November and in December! More about them you can find on their official page, but here is the list of them:

20/11/2013 @ Traffic (Rm)
21/11/2013 @ Colony (Bs)
30/11/2013 @ Rock'n'Roll (Rm)
7/12/2013 @ Angelo Azzurro (Ge)

The Shiver

Who will be in Italy and will have time, will be able to see band live in December. More info you can find on their official page.

13/12/2013 @ Bassano del Grappa TBA
14/12/2013 @ Vicenza TBA

Also, maybe you heard or not the latest news about them and year 2014.

Breaking news:
"Plan B Booking are pleased to announce that Italian band The Shiver are to join the roster of bands & will be touring Europe next year in the spring. this will be in support of the bands new Album release The Darkest Hour".

from [X]

Even Plan B Booking Agency put some info about it [X]:

Other news

This time the other news will be about concerts in Poland next year. As we all know, tour organizers and promoters wants to "kill" fans of music, especially at the end year ;) and this time is the same.

I think that next year will be the same great as this one because of last cocnerts which were announced. And what we have there, on the list? Only the best, I could say.

As for me the best information was, and still is, concert by NIN on June 10 2014 in Katowice [Poland]. Also the rest of dates and places looks very interesting:

Are you going to see them?

The second good news is concert by Aerosmith on June 12 2014 in Łódź [Poland]. Badly that it will be during Impact Festival 2014, but what can we do...?

Anyway, at Impact Festival 2014, on June 11 2014, will appear Black Sabbath - nice surprise, right?

So if you want to see both (or one of these bands) come to Łódź and enjoy your time at
Impact Festival 2014.

The next cool news is about Soundgarden and their show in Poland next year. Of course they will play at festival (again!) but it will be their first show in Poland. You will be able to see them on June 27 2014 at Oświęcim Frstival 2014.

And as everyone are saying, this is the beginning of concerts news, so I think we should wait a bit, save our money and then choose where to go to enjoy music and freat time.

And what with your music plans for the next year - are you going to some concerts?

*

Thirty Seconds To Mars

Thirty Seconds To Mars showed their fans the new music video to song City Of Angels, where you can see: Alan Cumming, Ashley Olsen, Corey Feldman, James Franco, Juliette Lewis, Kanye West, Lily Collins, Lindsay Lohan, Olivia Wilde, Selena Gomez, Shaun White, Steve Nash and Zoey Deutch.
In my opinion this video is cool, but a bit too long.

 City Of Angels

*

The 1975

The 1975 and their new music video to song Girls - great song, cool sounds and really good video. In my opinion this song is very good for every moment, no matter is it day or night.

Rhyme

And finally Rhyme and their video to Party Right. Guess what - this video has already almost 3.000 views! If you like or just want to listen to some great rock sounds - check it.

NEWS from The Shrugs and Bad Cardigan

Today I have some news form two great bands - The Shrugs and Bad Cardigan
So, are you ready?

Do you remember cool band The Shrugs, about who I wrote some time ago [X] ? I hope so. Yesterday Jamie and Ollie wrote amazing news on their page [X] about their music future and...new album!

We played a very enjoyable gig last night at Upstairs at The Emporium in Hanwell and are really pleased to say that we are now with new London-based record label 'FOOF Records'! If all goes according to plan, we will be releasing our upcoming full-length album 'Diversions' with them by the end of January (available to buy on CD or download for free via FOOF's very own website). Thanks to everyone who came along last night, and thanks to everyone who has popped along to one of our gigs in Scotland or listened to The Shrugs' music online. Hopefully this is just the start!

The Shrugs

Isn't it such a wonderful news?

As for me that's really awesome because they're very talented and they just are deserving it. Personally I can't wait to buy their album and then listen it and share their music with other people. So who will buy their album too?

NEWS! NEWS! NEWS! : a few words about me and Only Music Saves from DonkeyBox

Ladies and Gens,
today I have some news about me - what's really nice - and a few words about Only Music Saves.

I was really surprised when today I read the new bulletin from DonkeyBox, and when I found something about myself there, between info about their show, news about band and link with their last radio show.

Yes, when I saw it, I was dizzy a bit and surprised as hell. You know, it was something like: whaaaat? no way! my lord... and to be honest, I didn't believe in it haha :) You know, it's really weird (everytime - trust me) when you get to know, that everything what are you doing is worthwile, especially if it's about something what you love, what is your life, your soul, your everything.

And that's why I was, and still I am, so happy because of all words wrote by DonkeyBox. And I'm really glad that I can support them and I can do something for them, even if it's not nothing big, nothing special (f.e. their page on tumblr : http://donkeybox.tumblr.com ]

Mmm, I think it's a good moment to say something to them, cool guys from DonkeyBox.

One more time - big thank you for all your amazing words about me and about everything what I'm doing (good to know that it's worthwhile to do it no matter what), you know, I really appreciate it. I'm really glad that I can do something for you and I can support you, and I promise, I will do it - always. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and I wish you all the best.

Bryan Adams in Germany

I'm back, people! and only what can I say now is 'I want it one more time becausee it was awesome!'. Yes, Bryan Adams concert in Nurnberg [Germany] on March 24, 2012 was, mmm, more than great, cool or awesome, it was something perfect. He gave a wonderful show with only the best songs and amazing atmosphere...dream :)
At 8 PM Heather Nova appeared as direct support and played a few songs. Heather Nova is a Bermudian singer-songwriter and poet and I will try to write something more about her later...

setlist:

- Beautiful ride

- London rain (nothing heals me like you do)

- Like lovers do

- All I Need

- Walk this world

- Higher ground

- Heart and shoulder

Five minutes after 9PM, Bryan went on stage and the show was started. I think there was no person who wouldn't sing, didn't know his lyrics, wouldn't have a great time and it was pure magic for me. He has fun time with every song, with music... Every next song was better than last one what was wonderful feeling. His concert ended before the midnight, after 2 and half hour with music and his wondrous voice :)

setlist:

        House arrest
        Somebody
        Here I am
        Remember
Waking up the neighbours
Can't stop this thing we started
Thought I'd died and gone to heaven
Have you ever really loved a woman?
        Hearts on fire
Do I have to say the words
        18 'til I die
              back to you
        summer of '69
If you wanna leave me (can I come too?) / touch the hand
(Everything I do) I do it for you
        Cuts like a knife
        When you're gone
             Heaven
        Please forgive me
The only thing that looks good on me is you
        Cloud #9
        Run to you
        It's only love
There will never be another tonight
        Straight from the heart
        All for love

As you see, he sang many, many song and I think that's why we love him - because of his amazing voice, wonderful songs and awesome concerts :)

before show with sis...

Now I can say only onr thing, it was worthwhile to go there to Nurnberg, to see him live again. I think I will do it again as soon as possible ...maybe in July ;)

Later, I will say more about Nurnberg and my travel and something more about Heather Nova. And of course I will write about my news [maybe I will do it ;) ].

Have a great day!
