Black Flag : Nervous Breakdown [EP]

Black Flag [1976–1986] was an American punk rock band formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, California. They are widely considered to be one of the first hardcore punk bands. Black Flag voiced an anti-authoritarian and non-conformist message, in songs punctuated with descriptions of social isolation, neurosis, poverty, and paranoia.

Discography: 6 studio albums, 3 live albums 3 compilation albums and 8 EPs.

...in the darkroom

I must say it: I just love my profession!
So today I spent almost all day long in the darkroom - place where magic is happening...  ;) Because I still don't have my own darkroom, I rented very cool place in Sopot (the same once again). I like it because they've old, good equipment f.e. amazing Opemus 6 or Magnifax 4 (enlargers), which are excellent.
So what did I do today? Black&white photos! I think that B&W photos are amazing and always have 'something'...maybe emotions, maybe different beauty than color photography.
Today I'm really glad  because of results of my work - a lot of great b&w photos :)
 p.s. I even have two the best photos of all [ more details ↓ ].

Sziget Festival 2012

 

Ladies and gentlemen, let's talk about Sziget Festival in Budapest, Hungary. 

The Sziget Festival is one of the largest music and cultural festivals in Europe and it's held every August on the Northern Budapest Óbudai-sziget on the Danube. The festival was started in 1993 and this year it will be festival nr. 20.

What will we have this year? Only the best things, as always! So f.e.: Placebo, Hurts, The Horrors, Mando, Diao, Friendly Fires, Noah And The Whale, The Subways, Crystal Fighters...and many, many more!

Iggy and the Stooges in Poland, at the OFF Festival!

Hell yes, they'll come to Poland this year! Incredible but now I can say: dreams really came true! Iggy And The Stooges will play at the Three Ponds Valley [OFF Festival] in Katowice, Poland. And this wonderful day will be on August 5, 2012. Everybody, who knows Iggy, knows that this show will be something huge & just awesome...mmm...pure magic. As I saw they'll have only two shows this year (as of today) so I think this is one of few chances to see them. I will be there and I'm sure of it on 10000%! Who's going with me, who will be there too?

Hey, hey my crazy people!

I really need your help now because we must to do something for my my little wild beast - my lil sister, Paula. She's in the U.S. from June  2011 and she had a bad times yet but now it's tragically. Paula has really hard moments there and almost all the time she's sad...She'll be there for five months, alone, amongst hostile people. And that's why I need your help - we must to do something to cheer her up! So PLEASE, HELP ME! Please, write some nice words for her nice, positive comments under this post and help me to change her dull life there.

My b'day day was very nice but different than last year. First, I met with friends in the cafe where I got a super surprise from them - ice-cream dessert in the football cup as a birthday cake. That was something cool because I love football haha ;)  But, it was only a beginning... Later I had a crazy evening on b'day party with my friends in my house - cool! Anyway, I got some super-cool gifts and I was...mmm, really surprised and shocked! The best gift ever was from my sis, who gave me a special box -Nirvana 'Nevermind (super deluxe edition)' - just like a dream *_*

Today I would like to present to you the best rock-pop band in Belarus - Litesound.

Their debut album Going to Hollywood was the best selling album in Belarus in 2009. Song The Life, became a super hit after its appearance in a commercial of mobile operator and it was in the top of pop charts for months and it was awarded Ringtone of the Year in 2008.
Band got many awards f.e.: Festivale Internazionale de Maiori [2006],The Song Of The Year award [2008], Golden Ear award [2009], Ringtone Of the Year award [2009], The Song Of The Year award [2009] The TOP10 Best Musicvideos of Russia, Belarus, CIS and Baltic countries [2010].

In 2010 Jacopo 'JM' Massa [ more info about him: http://xgosiax.blogspot.com/2012/01/jacopo-jm-massa.html ] officially became part of the group, representing the Bielorussian nation in the final of the International song contest New Wave Stars in Latvia.

Hey hey my people! What's up? I hope you're all good :) What about me? A few new things, of course music things, as always. I spent money on CDs, again, but I'm happy as hell because I bought only a great albums. And I know, I shouldn't go to music stores but I've 'golden cards' in three shops , so what can I do? ;)

Today I would like to present to you Jacopo 'JM' Massa - international singer, songwriter, frontman, vocalist & producer - artist of the day.
He was born in '87 in Vercelli, Italy and...

  'nobody knows why he started singing but he swears he will give the reason one day...'

From the beginning of his musical career, JM won a lot of awards and he spent a short time in Minsk, Belarus, where he wrote and recorded a bilingual (Italian and English) song with Litesound - one of the best pop-rock band in this country, Belarus. This song, Solo per te, reached to the TOP 10 best music videos 2010 and was in the hit parade of the national radio for months and the video clip to this song was transmitted in turn on all the most important music channels in Eastern Europe f.e. MTV, Muz-tv, MIR, 1st Channel Belarus, etc.

In 2009 Jacopo wrote and produced his first solo album ΞNERGIΛ ΞMOTIVΛ which was a great success and his career gained momentum (f.e. performance with dARI on Don’t Drink & Drive , huge show with Litesound at the Minsk Palace of Sports in Minsk, Belarus).

In 2009, JM was selected as being among the top 20 emerging national talents by Radar commission. In 2010 Jacopo, officially became part of the group Litesound, representing the Bielorussian nation in the final of the International song contest New Wave Stars in Latvia (eventually classified 5th out of the 17 finalists of the 15.000 artists who came from various countries all over the world).

Now, JM is working on the sequel his first offcicial album ΞNERGIΛ ΞMOTIVΛ [2009]. Unfortunately, nobody knows when it'll come out...but we must to believe that his new album will something amazing and great.

As you can see on his live performances, he loves what he's doing because music is his passion and life. When he's on stage, he loves to amaze his audience and get it to interact no matter what and I think that's really great.

new book

woohoo! today i got a new book with my texts (three texts), finally! book, as every year, is always about Christmas and December so i think is for kids and of course for adults too. i must to say that this year it's very good - excellent writers and super material and i think it's much better that last year's anthology. and this year we had a small surprise for readers because first time there're a few writers from other countries, not only from Poland, what was and still is a great idea (who knows, maybe next year we'll have more of them).

ok, so i got four copies of this book (first edition) from publishing company, 3 weeks after date of publication so it's not bad ;)
and yes, i've a good mood today. again. :)

i know, festive time already ended, a long time ago, but i discovered today that i had forgotten to add a few things. so let's do it now!

the craziest thing: -4C outside plus my clothes when we were outside ( t-shirt, jeans sweatshirt, and cat's hat) & of course time of our party we started at 6PM (Dec 31) and we finished at 7AM (Jan 1)...and karaoke time ;)
