only music saves: Andrzej Piaseczny in Poznań

Ladies and Gents,
you should regret that you missed this concert. really. why? because it was one of the best concerts, where I was this year.

his concert was at Grand Theatre (in polish: Teatr Wielki im. Stanisława Moniuszki) in Poznań, Poland on October 22 2012. to be honest, as for me, it was really good place for his voice, his songs, his show, because of atmosphere there and people who came to see him on live.

a few words about Grand Theatre - this is a neoclassical opera house located in Poznań, Poland. it's named after famous Polish composer Stanisław Moniuszko. (more info: http://www.opera.poznan.pl).

ok, let's talk about Andrzej Piaseczny and his concert in Poznań.

he went on stage ten minutes late, but I think that everyone forgave him it, after first second of his song number one. his show was from 7:10PM to 8:20PM, but...he sang a lot of songs.
many of you can say 'eh, what a short concert. it isn't worthwhile spending money on it'. and maybe you could be right, but tell me, who, from our stars, would sing 18-20 songs without non-stop, on live of course, without some special show, and give so much joy with with music and show? and this is the real music and artist for me - person, who can hold your breath from the first to the last second of concert only with his/her voice, music, lyrics...
next plus for Andrzej - all the time, between his songs, he talked with his fans about everything - trust me - what was really nice, because you didn't feel that he's famous or somebody like that, but normal person, who loves what he's doing. you know, feeling this closeness bewteen artist and fans - that's really amazing.

the first song was To co dobre, song from his last album with the same title. later we had only the best songs in his long musical career, f.e. Chodź, przytul, przebacz, Śniadanie do łóżka, I jeszcze or even songs from the time when he was in the group called Mafia - Niecierpliwi and Wolność w nas.

songs with '* ' in the setlist are new, and that's why I didn't write their titles. they'll be on Andrzej's new Christmas album, so yes, you're right, they were about Christmas time. it was really funny to to listen them in October, two months before Christmas. I can tell you one thing about them - they're really nice and very winter, not only about Christmas :) and I'm sure you'll like them too.

as you see he sang 18 full songs, not only fragments or medley - great, isn't it?

you know, it was really funny, to be there, where people, who came there, was between 15-20 and, I don't know, maybe even 60. most of them were his 'old' fans, who remember him from band Mafia or his first solo songs.

who were there too, knows that it was worthwhile. who missed it - should regret as hell.
