the best of... [#6]

it's time for the best of...last 3 months!

oh yes! I know that's crazy but to be honest I just forgot about it, about my confession... and that's why I came back here with a few news from my life. and I must to tell that I had very great time with only awesome music and moments - it's a lot of it so better I'll start writing about it :)

1st news is fact that I changed name  of posts about my life from confession to the best of.... I think it's better, but maybe I'm worng - what do you think about it?

music which I listened to very often: 3 months - too much too tell everything...but I will try to tell you 'the best of the best' - albums, most often listened by me. movies which i watched (a few of them): next question, please! to be honest, I don't remember what I watched so I won't write nothing about it. next time I'll say more about movies. sorry.

the newest thing: concerts tickets [hell yes!]
big travels: Warsaw, Poznań, Bydgoszcz, Sopot, Gdańsk - everything in Poland.
amazing food/ drinks: black coffee Americano @ Starbucks (forever and always), Sobieski Drink (in the hotel in Warsaw after the concert), great pasta in Bydgoszcz....
plans :  huuuuge! concerts concerts concerts and concerts! and travels. the first concerts and trips already in December :)
letters/boxes: bills, a few letters from 'not-my-friends' and one from my lovely and wonderful friend Nina, her huge box with surprise made my day - Nina, thank you for everything, you exactly know for what ♡
bad/good news: concerts and travels - hell yes! and new albums by great bands/artists - can't wait to listen to them :)  these were a good news. what about bad? it isn't worthwhile talking about them, trust me.
parties: after'party after concert is also counting? if yes... I had 5 parties after concerts...my after'parties :D
concert / event  : 5 concerts! September: Coldplay (Marina and the Diamonds & Charli XCX as supports) in Warsaw, Ania Rusowicz in Bydgoszcz, Jennifer Lopez in Gdańsk. October: Andrzej Piaseczny in Poznań. November: Ania Rusowicz in Sopot.

Jacopo Massa : Inno 2012 [FC ProVercelli]

today, once again this week, I have a surprise for you - an interview with Jacopo Masssa, Italian musician, about who you could read several times on my blog.
this time, I asked him about his the last project, very special project, to be honest. maybe you didn't know it, but he recorded new anthem for football club, FC ProVercelli, and this is the reason of this post, because I think this is interesting.

so a few days ago I sent him a few questions about that project, and yesterday I got reply from him, so enjoy his words and music of course too.

mmm, I think, I should do something before that - tell you something more about FC ProVercelli, because you can't know this club.

Pro Vercelli, [Football Club Pro Vercelli 1892] is an Italian association football club based in Vercelli, Piedmont and is the oldest sport club of Italy and it made history of Italian football. The team currently plays in Serie B. The club has won 7 Italian Football Championship and the all-time best striker, Silvio Piola. After 64 years FC Pro Vercelli 1892 is going to play again among the big teams of Serie B and celebrating the 120th Anniversary between history and legend.

why you wrote the new song, Inno 2012, for this football club?
Jacopo Massa: Because I wanted to hear at the stadium of my hometown's glorious football club a new powerful hymn written and composed by me. You know, it's such an honour and a pleasure when you finally make it. And then you appear on Wikipedia ahahah.

how long did you work above this project?
JM: The idea came up during the last year and the project is still going on with a 7 tracks EP that is going to be shown at the city theatre with the support of a ballet. The album will be released in an exclusive limited edition package and also on iTunes.

who was first with this idea - you or maybe the club?
JM: I decided everything since the first moment and the club was just glad and trusted in me.

from where you took idea/inspiration for this song?
JM: Music and Football are universal languages and they share almost the same vibrations to the fans and the supporters. I mean that a match of your team or a concert of your band are something more similar than you think. This is the first reason that inspired me a lot. I wanted to unite both of those things in order do something unique in a pop song easy to be played in any event and sung by anyone. Indeed a special feature of the track are the voices recorded at the stadium.

are you a fan of this team? only be honest.
JM: Sure! I am fan because I love my city and I often wear white clothes as well for this reason.

who is the most proud of the result of your work - you, your family, fans of Pro Vercelli? or maybe somebody else?
JM: Of course me and my family are really delighted but the best satisfaction was when people of every age appreciated it immediately. That was my target. It's been an unusual experience, I could say alternative and traditional at the same time and therefore it was so riskfull. Eventually I performed before the match and the team won in a hard moment.

and what now? do you have some plans for the nearest future? when will it be possible to listen to your new songs? 
JM: Well, just have a little patience and stay tuned on my social networks for all my next unexpected projects!

Ania Rusowicz in Sopot

ladies and gents, yes, yes - Ania Rusowicz was in Spatif in Sopot, Poland on Nov 15 2012 - and I was there, of course.

and here's a small report from her concert....

I booked and bought ticket two weeks before the show and I couldn't wait to be there and see Ania and her band on live again. I couldn't miss it because I knew it will the best concert this month :)
and I was right, but more about it for a few words later... 

place of the concert : Spatif in Sopot, Poland. this is an exclusive club and legend of Sopot bohemia. the club was opened in the 50s and it's still, to be honest, one of the best place, where you can find real artists and art. (http://www.spatif.sopot.pl)

Ania's concert was supposed to start about 9PM so I came there a bit earlier, about 40 minutes before. the reason was simply - to have the best place amongst the crowd. I don't know why, and how to be honest, but I was in the first row and I was there during the whole concert. cool, isn't it? mmm, maybe because there were only few people who came to her concert and later the rest of the people came.

her band came on stage at 9:09PM and 2 minutes later she came too. and  the party began for good!
and who we had there? of course: Ania Rusowicz - vocal,  Tomek Zień - Hammond organ, Przemek 'Ritchie' Palczewski - guitar, Michał 'Burza' Burzymowski - bass guitar, Hubert Gasiul - drums. the best band ever.

the first song was Stróże świateł, then we had f.e. : Czekałam na ciebie tysiąc lat, Ja i Ty, Duży błąd and Za daleko mieszkasz miły. and of course they gave us a few surprises - the first one was a long conversation with Ania when Hubert Gasiul fixed drums after the 8th song (because everyone rocked out at the scene - too much energy, passion and love), then a great cover of  Somebody to love by Jefferson Airplane [first encore] and cover of Poszłabym za tobą by Breakout & Mira Kubasińska and then the second encore - Ślepa miłość. and concert ended about 10:45PM, unfortunately. 

I think that everyone, people who came to the concert and the band, had a great time. mmm, I'm sure of it. pity, that only a few persons sang all the time with Ania and the rest of them stood and looked or sang only 'oooooooh' / 'pa pa pa' - only there, when Ania asked them for it.

but if I have to say something about my opinion and my emotions after this concert, I can say only one word: incredible.

always, you can find at her concerts only positive vibrations, good energy, passion to music and love. every her concert is something between reality and return to the good, old time -era of Rock'n'Roll.
trust me, whole concert was a real Rock'n'Roll, babe! :)

I already wrote it two times and I'll write it again, but I have to. Ania is such an amazing, beautiful and incredible, who doesn't treat herself as a star/ famous person or somebody like that. she's something like a normal girl from the neighbourhood :) you can always talk with her or ask her for photo or autograph and she will do it, because fans are just like a family or friends for her. and that's wonderful.
