Two awesome bands together on one stage and on one tour - RHYME will be supporting The Darkness. Yes, yes, it's true. But unfortunately, you'll be albe to see them together only in Italy.
These three awesome shows will be in Trezzo Sull'adda [Milan], Bologna and Rome.
You can still buy tickets for all these shows here , so if you don't have any plans for these days or you'll be there/near these places or you just want to listen to some damn good rock sounds - go there! It's really worthwhile.

after almost two months from the premiere I finally got my own (now) album The Seed and the Sewage - hell yes!
so what we have there? mmm, I think I could say that everything what's the best and it would be truth to be honest. at first I thought it would be a bit similar to Fi(r)st but The Seed and the Sewage is really different, not only because of lyrics but because of music also.
to be honest they really surprised me because this album is just sensational and recommendable.
on the album you can find 11 really great songs - energetic rhythms, great vocal, super lyrics - songs, which will dominate your mind from the first second to the last, from the first song (Manimal) to the last one (cover of Depeche Mode - Wrong).

I wondered, how it will sound, their version of Wrong, which is epic and made by music geniuses...and it was another surprise for me, positive surprise. damn, their version of this song is great! I can't say anything bad about it, I have only good words in my mind.
every song on The Seed and the Sewage hasreally aawesome guitars riffs, great vocal and of course drums. and I think that every song from this album could be #1 because they're just awesome.
I can't say 'ok, this song is the best, these are good, and that one is bad' because for me whole album is brilliant.
I must say one thing - if you like good music, good metal or heavy rock - this album is made for you. The Seed and the Sewage is something like 'shut up, listen to it and enjoy!'.
I really wonder how these songs will be sound on live and that's why I can't wait to see them and just be at their show soon.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them - Gabriele, Matteo, Riccardo & Vinny - their future history and new songs/album/shows and I wish them only successes in the future.
today I have a surprise for you and not only for their fans - a small interview with Gabriele Gozzi and Riccardo Canato, from the great Italian rock band Rhyme.
you could read about them in earlier posts, about them and their album 'fi(R)st' but today...will be better - believe me.
I sent them a few questions about their new album The seed and the sewage (premiere: December 2012), their plans for the future and about band and a few days later I got reply from them - woow!
let's see what they said...
how would you describe your new album The seed and the sewage?
Gab: rough, real, deeply straight to the point Rik: tough, unbreakable, madly in anger, sociopolitical and pure.
how do you think, is your new album is better or the same as your album fi(R)st?
Gab: I think it doesn't have to be a matter of "being worse or better". It's different. It is an evolution of our sound for sure. I personally feel more involved, because I was there from the beginning of the process this time. My anger is in there, thus my hope. We almost couldn't control our creative process and the result surprised us first! Rik: I think it's better, I'm honest. This is an album band, even if me and Teo wrote most of the album, all the arrangements, the sound, the philosophy behind the TSATS, come from a band. We're friends, now, we're partners in music. You feel the smell of rehearsals, tours, life on the road. It's even better for another reason: no fuckin' traces of old hard rock.
do you have favourite song on this album?
Gab: I think Victim Of Downturn is the most complete song we've ever written. It's what Rhyme can accomplish, putting their "everything" on the line. Rik: Victim of Downturn, with no doubt. Lyrics, music and performance. In my opinion, the essence of TSATS.
how long did you work above this project?
Gab: It took almost a year, we had more time,we did lots of pre productions, eventhough we learned that, as musicians who embrace the "do it yourself" philosophy, there's always a sense of urgence in the air.
from where you took idea/inspiration for new songs and album?
Rik: Most of the lyrics of TSATS are facing the economic crisis started in USA in 2008. We're dealing with politicians, lawyers, media and at the same time with the opposite side, poor people, suicides, forbidden families, disoccupation, desperation. FI(R)ST was something personal, musically and lyrically. This one gives a portrait of nowadays world, fear and anger definitely took their tool on us a little bit.
is there something on this album, what will surprise your fans? maybe something special?
Gab: I think that the album itself could be a surprise, expecially if you know us from the beginning.
The best of us is musically and lyrically in this album. I don't expect it to be an easily understood. If you're a new listener, I hope you'll take the time to scratch the surface a bit, and dive into our music.
did you have some crazy moments/stories during the work on the album?
Gab: The drums session were kinda crazy: only four days to set and record everything. Teo went sick and spent almost the entire day 2 in and out of the hospital;on day 3, we managed to play a show after a 14 hr studio session!! crazy!! I managed to almost break a finger while moving a dishwasher! Whaddahell haha!
what with promotion of this album? do you have some tour in your plans?
Gab: Our new label, Bakerteam\Scarlet Records is doing a good job. The album will be distributed almost worldwide.
As for our tour plans, we are working on multiple options: Russia, USA, Northern Europe, Italy, and of course....we want to come back to your wonderful Poland. We'll see what are able to collect. 2013 should be an interesting year!
how it happened, that you met and you formed such a brilliant band?
Rik: well, thanks. You know, you have to work your ass off to get what you want. I started my music life at 15, with other bands, other musicians...but what I really wanted was Rhyme. I met Teo in 2002 and we played together, then the band splited, but we kept in touch. When the time was right I made the call. I knew he was the right one and the same happened with Gab. It was February 2010, we were exited for our first anniversary as Rhyme when, 3 days before this big show, the previous singer left the band with a sms on my phone. We get depressed, really, but I told Teo: "we're gonna have this guys, Gab, with us...sooner than you think. I promise." 10 days later Gab joined the band. He was busy, but he fucked up all his projects for us. I ain't gonna forget this for a long time. About Vinny, you know...he was the missing part. I made another call and we spent like two hours talking about "how beautiful that album is...I love that drummer style so much...", kinda like I was talking to myself. He's a great drummer and a great guy. We're lucky to stay together, the four of us.
so if we are talking not about your new album, but about you, tell me, with whom would you like to cooperate in the future?
Gab: Chris Cornell, Dave Gahan, Trent Reznor and Lynyrd Skynyrd Rik: Jerry Cantrell, Mike Ness, Seasick Steve...
do you want to say something to your fans, who aren't convinced, is it worthwhile to listen to The seed and the sewage?
Gab: We can't promise anything except honest rock music, and thankful live shows. See you all on stage.

Yes, it was a crazy and mmm... surprising week, with good and bad, happy and sad moments. Who expected it? I think, nobody! One word: Eurofest (more about it: http://xgosiax.blogspot.com/2012/02/litesound-and-eurofest-2012.html )! So 5 long days after Eurofest in Belarus, situation is still hot. ok, who thinks that choice of the representative was good or fair? Only be honest with it.
And that's why I think we should fight. Fight for the truth. Fight for the real music. So let's show world what we can do and let's show other people who we are! WE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE MUSIC and this is amazing!
I got many messages from people from many countries in the world and they were shocked. Really. They thought that band Litesound won Eurofest. And I must tell you, they didn't know them earlier so it was Litesound's first song which they heard and they fell in love with the song. I think this is the best proof about music of this band and about all band of course. Amazing thing, amazing feeling.

To everybody, who believe in guys from Litesound and who like them - we are the winners, the real winners! And we should be proud of it and of them no matter what.
Today was the day...a great day but a bit sad for guys from Litesound and for their fans. All the people thought that they would be winners and will go to Baku. Everybody thought that Eurofest 2012, and later Eurovision Song Contest 2012, would be their... But not. Not this time, again.They were 2nd, only second. What is badly because they were very good and their song We are the heroes is just awesome.

The second performance was with all 5 finalists of Eurofest - nice moment and great song.
Later, were only nerves and waiting for the end - strong emotions.

Maybe next year or next time they'll be in the Eurovision, a real Eurovision. Not only on Eurofest, as always. And I wish them it because they're deserving it.
Today I would like to present to you Jacopo 'JM' Massa - international singer, songwriter, frontman, vocalist & producer - artist of the day.
He was born in '87 in Vercelli, Italy and...
'nobody knows why he started singing but he swears he will give the reason one day...'
From the beginning of his musical career, JM won a lot of awards and he spent a short time in Minsk, Belarus, where he wrote and recorded a bilingual (Italian and English) song with Litesound - one of the best pop-rock band in this country, Belarus. This song, Solo per te, reached to the TOP 10 best music videos 2010 and was in the hit parade of the national radio for months and the video clip to this song was transmitted in turn on all the most important music channels in Eastern Europe f.e. MTV, Muz-tv, MIR, 1st Channel Belarus, etc.

In 2009 Jacopo wrote and produced his first solo album ΞNERGIΛ ΞMOTIVΛ which was a great success and his career gained momentum (f.e. performance with dARI on Don’t Drink & Drive , huge show withLitesound at the Minsk Palace of Sports in Minsk, Belarus).

In 2009, JM was selected as being among the top 20 emerging national talents by Radar commission. In 2010 Jacopo, officially became part of the group Litesound, representing the Bielorussian nation in the final of the International song contest New Wave Stars in Latvia (eventually classified 5th out of the 17 finalists of the 15.000 artists who came from various countries all over the world).
Now, JM is working on the sequel his first offcicial album ΞNERGIΛ ΞMOTIVΛ [2009]. Unfortunately, nobody knows when it'll come out...but we must to believe that his new album will something amazing and great.
As you can see on his live performances, he loves what he's doing because music is his passion and life. When he's on stage, he loves to amaze his audience and get it to interact no matter what and I think that's really great.
