        Why I chose Anthony Russo as today's artist of the day?

     That's the most important question, as always of course. I think that the first and the most perfect answer will be: because! Because of his music. Because of his voice. Because there's something in his music that you want to listen to it all the time. Because every song is a great piece of perfect music. Because his music is something new, something fresh, even epic. Because of his huge talent [I think this "because" should be the first reason ]. Because he is so damn good in everything what he is doing. Because of all that I think that's the reason why he deserve to be our "Artist of the day". That's a fact.
    As you all know, it's always great to hear something new and something with soul and heart. I love  to write about little-known artists and music who made something valuable, not another "radio empty song". And that's why I'm writing all these words, because I want to recommend you another excellent little-known [yet] artist and I'm sure you will like Anthony Russo and his music.
   Great beats, awesome lyrics, perfect performing. His songs have it all. His music has and soul and heart and all these emotions you want to feel. They are just amazing and hypnotizing. Maybe this is the reason of this perfection. Who knows...
  When you are listening to his music there's something what gives you a piece of something good and real and you are able to feel the music - every second of the song, every word. And you know what? That's really great. Because whats more better or more beautiful than pure joy from the music you are listening? Nothing. Really nothing.
     Pure perfection? Probably yes. But please, don't be surprised - his music sounds really remarkable. And I think that when you will listen to these songs you will exactly know how to describe him and his music. And that's why I'm pretty sure you will fall in some-kind-of-love with his songs and you will find your own world in his music. In my opinion that's really cool.

         Hollie Stephenson - young, beautiful and very talented woman with remarkable voice. Yes, this is Ms Stephenson, and that's why today I want to recommend you the music by her. I'm pretty sure that you will fall in love with her voice and of course with her music.

     First of all, I have to ask you one thing - who heard this name or any song by her, or better, who knows Hollie Stephenson?

  I'm pretty sure, that maybe there will be a few people who can say "I did", "I know", "I heard something by Hollie". And these people should be happy, because they had a chance to feel something really amazing. But from the other side that's not so good because she is just like her music - incredibly perfect and she should be more famous.
    First time I heard about her a few weeks ago and...I just fell in love with her and her voice. And since then, every time when I listened something new [or something older] I knew one thing - she is an amazing singer.
    Believe me or not, but I can say only one thing: I haven't heard such a wonderful voice like her yet! Sure, there were such Legends like Amy Winehouse or Billy Holliday, but nowadays Hollie is like a miracle. Trust me. In every song you can see from the first seconds how talented she is. And that's really wonderful.
    Probably you are thinking now "yeah sure, but she just another singer, so why she's so special?". Everything! Maybe you're right, maybe for some people she's just another singer with a nice voice. But not for me. Why? Because of a few reasons:
   The first: her voice - it's just extraordinary! In every song you can hear, or better - feel, real emotions, what's really great.
   The second: everything what she's doing in just perfect in every part.
   The third: is obvious, Hollie is just a gorgeous woman.
   The fourth: her perfect and unique music.
              Simple - she's unique.
                  Her music is like Heaven.

    She has something wonderful - some kind of magic - what makes that she is so perfect. And also huge talent. In my opinion that's the best.

   I think that the fact that Hollie isn't well-known in many places yet, will change soon, very soon. I hope so. No, I really believe in it and I wish her it.
    To be honest, I can't wait for more music by Ms Hollie. I'm sure it will be something so good like previous songs and I'm sure she'll surprise not only me, but the whole World with amazing music, that voice and talent. And of course I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her future and I wish her all the best and many many successes.

       Why I chose Aaron as today's artist of the day?
   Maybe it's because of music or lyrics [of his own song] or his voice. Maybe because he's so damn good in everything what he's doing or singing, no matter is it his own song or just a cover.
I just have to say one thing: I don't know why, but one thing I am sure about is the fact that he's very talented. Everything what he's doing it's always like a mix of everything the best.
   But the best is the fact that every song sung by him, no matter is it a cover of his own song, is something new, something fresh, epic. Something what you can love and call cool, real music. Maybe this is the reason of this perfection.
   To be honest some covers sung by him sounds even better than original versions and that's a HUGE and EPIC thing.
     When you are listening to his music there's something what makes you happy in some way, something what gives you a piece of something good and real and you are able to feel the music, every second of the song, every word. And you know what? That's really amazing.
     Pure perfection? Probably yes. And I think that when you will listen to the music you will exactly know how to describe him and his work. And that's why I'm pretty sure you will fall in love not only with his voice but for sure with his songs and you will find your own world in his music.

Artist of the day : KONGOS

       Ladies and Gents, today I would like to recommend you the music of this awesome band -  KONGOS. I'm sure you will become a fan of their music because their music is just epic. Are you ready?

 KONGOS is an alternative rock band from Johannesburg [South Africa] formed by four brothers: Johnny Kongos [accordion / keyboards / vocals], Jesse Kongos [drums / percussion / vocals], Daniel Kongos [guitar /vocals] and Dylan Kongos [bass guitar /lap slide guitar /vocals].
Their debut album "Kongos" was released on 2007, and the second album, "Lunatic", was released on 2012.

        Why I chose KONGOS as the artist of the day?

     That's sad a bit, because I heard about them for the first time two years ago and I think,it was too late. Why? Because their music is just epic. You can feel that mix of rock and kwaito, feel all these great rhythms in every song played by them and that's the best.
    Probably you are thinking now "so what, this is just the next alternative rock band, and what is new this time?". Everything. They are not like the others. They are better. They are so damn good.
You have to listen to even one song by them to feel it.
    I always have a problem to find the best words to say all these reasons why I chose somebody or some music and, to be honest, this time is the same. I could write here all words, compliments, good and bad reasons why you should listen to them, but I'm pretty sure it would be too little. They just have something what makes them so perfect. Huge talent, great music? Yes, but not only. I think that the whole magic is in them, in what they are doing. 
     Believe me or not, but there's something in their music what gives you a piece of good and real music, music full of emotions, words, full of great vibrations. With soul. And that's everything what you need if you want to feel freedom and happiness.
     Sometimes you have such a feeling that the music sounds the same. Yes, something like that happens very often nowadays. But not this time. This time you have a chance to get to know something different, something good. Something epic. Every song from their albums is something so damn good from beginning to end and with every next song you want more and more. You know, it's something in their music that you want to listen to it all the time and that's just amazing.

    Songs on their albums are unique, with excellent lyrics and perfect sounds. Also I think that there's something between vocals, lyrics, music and the band who made it. Magnetism. Why do I think that this is it? Because when you're listen to any song by them, you have something like 'wow!' and 'I feel it!' in your mind.
     Think - what's better than perfect alternative rock music, all these super things of the band which I already wrote and your feelings when the song ends and you must play it again because you want more and more? Here's your answer.
      As for me, their music is something really awesome, fresh and unique, something what you can listen all day long because it gives you pure energy, happiness, freedom.
     Now, I'm waiting for more music by KONGOS, because as for me they're just excellent. Also I wish all the best to them and of course I'm keeping my fingers crossed for their future, because they are very talented and I know that they will surprise us yet.

     And you better remember the name of this band - KONGOS.

     Why I chose Noah as today's artist of the day? For sure because of his voice and own songs. As you all know, it's always great to hear something new and something with soul and heart. Something what will stay in our minds for longer than two or three minutes. His songs have it all - from the great sounds, lyrics and talent of the musician to something between words and rhythms. The soul. Music made by him is nice, easy. Just amazing.
     When you are listening to Noah, there's something what gives you a piece of good, real music, full of emotions, words and amazing sounds, and that's really cool. Why? Because it's something special and wonderful when you are able to feel the music, every second of the song, every word.   
     Maybe an acoustic music is too simple and too easy to be great but in my opinion this kind of music is one of the best, because you can get to know the artist and his talent. And that's the fact about him - he is very talented.
     I don't know why and how, but no matter what he's singing, he's doing it always perfect and every sound, every track is just a mix of everything the best. Something epic. Something what you can love and call a real music.

Music of the day: "The Brave" by Lola Cove.

      Ladies and Gents - make some noise for one and only, Lola Cove!
Today's song of the day is the newest song "The Brave" and I'm pretty sure you will love it. Trust me, it's really good song with cool sounds so better turn up speakers, feel it and make some noise.
   Are you ready?

 Lola Cove are an alternative rock band from London [UK] formed by Luke Richmond [lead vocals / piano], Ollie Richmond [vocals / guitar], Jonny Swales [bass], Owen Crane [vocals / guitar] and finally Rob Cousins [drums] in 2013. Their first EP with three tracks was released in 2013, but their first official EP will be released in the second half of this year, 2014. Their first official music video - "Breathe" [released on April 2014].

     I'm sure that you remember  my last post about them [if not, you can read it here] and you remember when I wrote that I can't wait for more music by them because they're really awesome and their music is cool, fresh and a great piece of rock? This song is a great example that their music is just excellent. Because that they're talented I don't have to say again.

        "The Brave" - why?
     That's simple - this song is just epic! And to be honest they surprised me again. Really. The song was released on August 31 so it's still hot&fresh. And believe me - this song is so damn good.
    "The Brave" has everything what makes a rock song really awesome - great lyrics, cool sounds and five guys from the band who have a talent and you can really feel it while you're listening to their music. As for me it's important to feel the music, you know - magic inside the words and sounds. And guess what - you have it with this song and that's really cool.
     In my opinion, this song is just perfect. Why? Because this song was and still is like a huge "booom!" and "woow" in one, something what makes that you want to listen to it non-stop and you want more and more. I think that's really good.
     From August 31 I listened to this song hundreds of times and from that first time I just can't stop listening to "The Brave". Trust me, you will have the same when you only put "PLAY".

I can say only one thing - Guys, great job. Keep it up.

     Today I would like to recommend you the music of a great duo Brick + Mortar. I'm pretty sure that you will like them because their music is really awesome. Ready to rock with Brick + Mortar? Ladies and Gents, here we go!


Brick + Mortar is an indie rock / indie pop duo from Asbury Park, NJ [USA] formed by Brandon Asraf [guitar / bass / vocals / samples] and John Tacon [drums / vocals / samples] in 2010. They have two EPs: "7 Years in the Mystic Room EP" [2010] and "Bangs EP" [2013]. Amongst their inspiration we can find, f.e.: Dinosaur Pile Up, Anthony Green, Circa Survive, Good Old War, Manchester Orchestra, Kongos, Vacationer, mewithoutyou, Cage the Elephant, Walk The Moon, Bad Suns.

   Brick + Mortar...who? Why?
       Probably you are thinking now "this is just the next indie pop rock band, so what is new this time?" and maybe you are right. Maybe this is only a duo with the next indie pop rock songs but their songs aren't the same as the other. They are better. This is not the only reason why I chose them as the artist of the day. To be honest I have two good reasons why them.
      First of all: music because music is always the most important thing. Every song by them is a great mix of perfect and awesome things like rhythms and lyrics, and when you listen to their songs you want to say "that's cool" or "woow!". Simple, isn't it? Fresh sounds and cool lyrics - that's why you want to listen more and more music made by them. Ladies and Gents, this is Brick + Mortar.
      Another reason why are genres of their music. I think that all of us are sick because the same "radio songs" with pop, pop/rock or alternative rock sounds. Sometimes it's too much of it. And that's why songs by Brick + Mortar are so damn good - because they are something fresh and unique nowadays. Hell yeah!
     I can say only one thing: damn! Why? Because their music can change your mood, your day. I'm pretty sure that these songs will be the best thing to listen to every day, not only this Summer or this year. Always.
     Be honest, can't wait for new & cool music by them, because as for me they're just excellent. Also I wish all the best to them and of course I'm keeping my fingers crossed for their future, because they are very talented and I know that they will surprise us yet.

    As you know me, I like to write about little-known artists and music who made something new, fresh and just cool. And the same is today, that's why I'm here now and I'm writing all these words, because I want to recommend you another excellent little-known band, yet, and I'm sure you will like them and their music.
   And before I will write more about them I have to say one thing - Instagram, thank you :) That's crazy but I met them some time ago via Instagram and they are another band or artist about who I got to know just because this page. Is it the new way to meet something new? Maybe.

As for me their songs are a great piece of music - something new, something fresh, epic and nice. When you are listening to Janice Prix, believe me or not, in their music is something what gives you a piece of good and real music, full of emotions, words. With soul. You know - everything what you need if you want to feel freedom.

      Probably you are thinking now "no way, this is just the next folk / alternative band, so what is new this time?". And I think you're wrong. They are not like the others. They are better. They are so damn good.
   They have something what makes them so perfect - huge talent and great music. You know - Young Blood.
   Music by Crystal Fighters? It's a great mix of alternative dance, synthpop, folk and folktronica. As for me their songs are a great piece of music. When you are listening to Crystal Fighters, believe me or not, in their music is something what gives you a piece of good and real music, full of emotions, words. With soul. Everything what you need if you want to feel freedom.
     Sometimes you have such a feeling that the music sounds the same. But not this time. This time you have a chance to get to know something new, fresh, nice. Just something good. Also I think that there's something between vocals, lyrics, music and the band who made it. Magnetism. For sure. Why? Simple answer - because when you're listen to any song by them, you have something like 'wooow!' in your mind.
     I think that everyone will find something good in their music. Why? Because all of their songs are a great piece of good music full of great beats. I'm sure that if you like this kind of music, alternative dance / folk or synthpop, you will find your own world in their music - simple, isn't it?
    Why I know it? Why I'm sure that you will love it? Think, what's better than mix of perfect synthpop, electronic folk and alternative dance sounds, all these super things of the band which I already wrote and your feeling when the song ends and you must play it again because you want more and more? Here's your answer.
      I can say one thing - they're so damn good! 

     As for me, their music is something really awesome, something what you can listen all day long because it gives you pure energy. And joy. Yes, in my opinion music by Crystal Fighters is a real music, something fresh and unique.

     Now, I'm waiting for more music by Crystal Fighters, because as for me they're just excellent. Also I wish all the best to them and of course I'm keeping my fingers crossed for their future, because they are very talented and I know that they will surprise us yet.

    Now it's your turn. I think you should check it to judge, is it for you or not, but I'm sure that if you love, or only like, a rock music, you will like Crystal Fighters - there is no other way.

Artist of the day : Thomston.

     Ladies and Gents, today I would like to recommend you the music of this nice man. His music is just so great and I'm pretty sure you will become a fan of his music and his voice. Are you ready?

Thomas Stoneman [Thomston] is musician from New Zealand. His music is a good piece of alternative pop. He has two EPs - Argonaut EP [2014] and  Backbone EP [2015].

     Why I chose Thomston as today's artist of the day? Good question. For sure because of a few reasons. First of all because of his voice. Because of his music. Because there's something in his songs that you want to listen to it all the time. Because every of his song is a piece of great pop music. Because his songs are something new, something fresh, epic, nice. Simple - because of his huge talent.
    As you all know, it's always great to hear something new and something with soul and heart. His songs have it all. They are just amazing and hypnotizing.
    When you are listening to Thomston, there's something what gives you a piece of good and real music, full of emotions, words and amazing sounds. As for me that's just cool. Why? Because you can get to know the artist and his talent, believe me he has it - a huge talent. And that's why every of his song has something what you can love and call a real music.
Maybe this is the reason of this perfection.
    Pure perfection? Please, don't be surprised. Thomston's music sounds really remarkable. I think that when you will listen to the music you will exactly know how to describe him and his work. And that's why I'm pretty sure you will fall in love with his voice and his songs and you will find your own world in his music, especially when you like/love this kind of music - pop / alternative pop.

   To be honest, I can't wait for more music by him. I'm sure it will be something so good like previous songs and I'm sure he'll surprise not only me, but the whole World with his music and talent. And of course I'm keeping my fingers crossed for his, Thomas Stoneman, and for his future.

Music of the day : "The Key" by The Shiver.

     Ladies and Gents, today I would like to recommend you a great song "The Key" by The Shiver. You can be sure one thing - today's song of the day is just awesome, so better make some noise for one and only The Shiver!


The Shiver - an Italian band formed by Federica Faith Sciamanna (vocal), Francesco Finch Russo (drums), Vincenzo Lodolini (guitar) and finally Michele Colantuoni (bass guitar). They have three albums: "Inside" [2008], "A New Horizon" [2010] and "The Darkest Hour" [2014] and also one EP "Acoustic Experience #1" [2011] and one demo "Shade’s Changing".Their music is a mix of rock, dark rock, electro-goth and ambient.

     I know I already wrote almost everything about the band in previous posts, but you know what, I don't know why, but every time I can find something new in their next music videos and songs, what I can write here. And I think that the same will be this time.


     What should I say at the beginning? Maybe a few words about the song and then something about a music video. 
    The song, "The Key" is the next single from their new album, "The Darkest Hour" [2014], and I can say one thing - this song is just excellent.
    In my opinion, "The Key", is the same great choice as the last one -"Ocean". And again the song is the best description of the band. We can see, or better - hear - everything what makes The Shiver so good and what makes that we like or love their music. We have here amazing lyrics, great music, wild energy and... 100% of talent. In my opinion this song has everything what a good rock song should give us. And that's the best, don't you think so?
   Right, a music video. To be honest, The Shiver surprised me one more time. Why? Because this video is just so damn good, just perfect to this song. I think you really have to watch it to see how great it is. 
   Great job, really great job.

    Anyway, as always I'm waiting for more by them and of course for more new info about their new tour next year. Did you already hear about it? If not - yes, they will have Europe Tour next year! So if you knew them early or you just got to know about them and you like their music, if you will have some free time and you will want to listen to some good rock music - be ready to rock with them next year! Trust me, it is worthwhile! 

So, are you ready for "The Key" and to say: "holy shit, that's awesome!" ? Hope so.
