Album of the day: "Live" EP by Blue Lining.

Ladies and Gents, hope you are ready for a piece of good music, because these four tracks are really great and I'm sure you will want more and more. Today I would like to recommend you a great EP "Live" by Blue Lining. Make some noise!

Blue Lining is a blues/ rock / indie band from Israel formed by Ori Jacovchak [vocals, harmonica, guitar], Raz Copperman [vocals, piano, guitar], Roy Lazar [guitar, vocals], Ben Berger [bass] and Uri [drums].
"Live" EP [2016] is an announcement of their new album above which they are working.
You can find more info about them on their FB page, Twitter, YouTube, SoundCloud and Instagram.
Also you can read my previous post about them here.

What do they have or do that I can't stop listening to their music and I can't wait for more? I really don't know, but it's a good thing. You know, they are always like a huge mystery because you never know with what they will surprise you - will it be an own song or maybe cover, something great or only good? You never know what you can expect and the same was with this EP. One huge positive surprise.

Only four songs, badly, but every single song is so damn good, unique, just like huge woow!. A great mix of f.e. rock, indie and folk rock, and that's why this album is epic. Amongst these four tracks you can find something slower and something faster. Every song is fine-tuned, with great lyrics and even better sounds. This is what I am looking for in the music.
In my opinion these four songs are like the essential of Blue Lining - if you don't feel these rhythms, their music is not for you.

They surprised me again, to be honest, and now I can't wait for more music by them. Of course they did an awesome cover of "Feeling Good",by Nina Simone, but it's not enough. That's why I'm waiting for their album because I know it will be something really great.

I think you should just listen to these songs, feel these sounds and decide: yes or no.

And remember, if you like these songs, show them some love and share their music with your friends and/or with other people. Tell the World about these awesome songs and of course about Blue Lining.

Music of the day : "Ocean" [live version] by The Shiver.

Today's song of the day is the newest song "Ocean" by The Shiver. This time it's something new because it's a live version of this song. Who knows, maybe it's even a bit better than an album version. Why? I'll tell you more about it later. Trust me, this version is really great and with cool sounds so better turn up speakers, feel it and make some noise... Ready to rock with The Shiver?

The Shiver - an Italian band formed by Federica Faith Sciamanna (vocal), Francesco Finch Russo (drums), Vincenzo Lodolini (guitar) and finally Michele Colantuoni (bass guitar). They have three albums: "Inside" [2008], "A New Horizon" [2010] and "The Darkest Hour" [2014] and also one EP "Acoustic Experience #1" [2011] and one demo "Shade’s Changing".Their music is a mix of rock, dark rock, electro-goth and ambient.
You can find more info about them here: official page, official FB, Twitter, YouTube, Reverbnation, VK , iTunes , MySpace, Soundcloud .

Also you can find more about them and about their music in my previous posts here.

As you remember, or not, I already wrote about this song and about music video. Yes, a few months ago they released the first single from their the newest album "The Darkest Hour" and I think that all songs from this album are the best description of The Shiver, to be honest. Just like this song.

I know, I wrote a lot of "Ocean" yet and I think it would be a bit stupid to write the same words and opinions again. You can read this post here.  So today I'll use this video to answer two questions - 1st: why this version is even better than album version; 2nd: why The Shiver is such a great band as I'm telling all the time. I know, it won't be easy, but I will try.
Let's start.

Two days ago was a good day - the day when you all can see the real "face" of The Shiver.
You can listen to their music on albums, you can watch their music videos, but to be honest this way you won't see how awesome they're in real live. How much of heart they are giving into what they are doing - music. And concerts, of course too.
This version of "Ocean" was recorded during one of their last shows and it's epic.

That's why I chose this song and this video to show you it. To show you, how great musicians they are and how cool they sounds during their shows. Guitars, percussion, vocal plus great sounds and super lyrics - that's all is creating an excellent atmosphere. And the energy of the band... Epic.

This video is the proof of everything what I ever write about them, their music, talent and their concerts.
Pure magic, real music, awesome show - what do you need more? Nothing.

This is a real music. The band who's doing great music with true words, thoughts, sounds, song with a message. I'm not talking only about this song, "Ocean", but about all songs by The Shiver. That's why they are...perfect and their songs - epic.

I think you will feel that energy when you will watch this video, and I'm sure you will say: holy shit, this is perfect!

So ready to check it, ready to rock?

3...2...1...0... here we go, so turn up speakers, feel it and make some noise!

Thirty Seconds to Mars in Rybnik [Poland].

Ladies and Gents...this concert was heavenly. After all this is Thirty Seconds to Mars, isn't it?

Up to this moment I wondered what I should write about this concert... and I didn't find any good answer to it, any good way how to do it. Why? Because everything what I will say will be silly and the same as I wrote here about their shows yet.
Of course this concert wasn't the same as previous. Because of Shannon Leto, or better - because of his absence. During the whole show was an impression of emptinesses, that something important is missing,  something what was a part of soul, heart and mind of the band. Yes, only when they are together [Jared, Tomo and Shannon] there is the band, Thirty Seconds to Mars. Without him it's not the same.

The show was full of good music, screams and just fun time. Badly that almost all songs on their setlist were only from their last two albums, and only "The Kill [Bury me]" and "Attack" were two "rare" old songs from their second album, "A Beautiful Lie", but these two weren't a full songs but only a short parts in an acoustic versions.
Maybe someday at their concert we will hear some old good songs by them.

There was an energy, great atmosphere, cool people, and music, epic music. And that feeling that you have to enjoy every moment because you will never know when you will be able to see them again, to feel the same as during this show. Of course we all know that all good things come to an end and the same was this time. In my opinion, 15 songs [with four songs in acoustic version], is too less, especially that there were a moments were we heard more words than music. But I'm very pleased with it.

setlist

Birth
Night of the Hunter
Search and Destroy
This Is War
Conquistador
Kings and Queens
Do or Die
End of All Days
City of Angels
Hurricane [acoustic]
Alibi [acoustic]
Attack [acoustic]
The Kill (Bury Me) [acoustic]

encore

Closer to the Edge
Up in the Air

During the whole concert I was in GC area and I think it was the best way to enjoy this show to the max, I had one of the best view and the stage was really close to me.
After the show I was deaf [even now I'm a bit half-deaf ] and I lost my voice and it was the second time this month [previous was after Aerosmith show in Berlin] and this is the best sign how awesome this show was and how great time I had.

Even if this show was too short, even is there was no Shannon, even if there were only "new" songs - I'm so happy that I was there.
I regret nothing, even my exams which I left to be there, at this concert, to meet them, Jared and Tomo, before the show.

Now I have hope [huge hope] that soon I will be able to see be at their concert soon and that soon they will do us surprise with their next new album, even EP or with the new song.

Who was there with me, in Rybnik and felt the same pure energy as I? Did you enjoy the show? And who from you saw or will see them during this tour?

Anyway, as I wrote earlier, I met Jared and Tomo before the show and it was like huge "wooow" and "holy shit of everything!". Of course it was a bit badly that everything [signing and photos] was on the area of Golden Circle at the stadium, open stadium and that everything happened so quickly, too quickly. Plus all these bans... But I'm so damn happy that I was there, that met them, but it's a pity that Shannon wasn't there - damn, me and my bad luck..But maybe next time. Yes, next time for sure I will meet all of them - Shannon, Jared and of course Tomo.
Now I have to wait for the pics from this meeting, but I'm sure I'll look there like an idiot, happy idiot.

Ok, I know that everything what I already wrote and what I could write will be not enough to show you how epic this concert was, so better I will show you some pics and vids from there. But before I will do it, I have to say one more thing :
YOU WEREN'T THERE? SHAME ON YOU AND REGRET IT AS HELL!
