Artist of the day : Brick + Mortar.

     Today I would like to recommend you the music of a great duo Brick + Mortar. I'm pretty sure that you will like them because their music is really awesome. Ready to rock with Brick + Mortar? Ladies and Gents, here we go!


Brick + Mortar is an indie rock / indie pop duo from Asbury Park, NJ [USA] formed by Brandon Asraf [guitar / bass / vocals / samples] and John Tacon [drums / vocals / samples] in 2010. They have two EPs: "7 Years in the Mystic Room EP" [2010] and "Bangs EP" [2013]. Amongst their inspiration we can find, f.e.: Dinosaur Pile Up, Anthony Green, Circa Survive, Good Old War, Manchester Orchestra, Kongos, Vacationer, mewithoutyou, Cage the Elephant, Walk The Moon, Bad Suns.

   Brick + Mortar...who? Why?
       Probably you are thinking now "this is just the next indie pop rock band, so what is new this time?" and maybe you are right. Maybe this is only a duo with the next indie pop rock songs but their songs aren't the same as the other. They are better. This is not the only reason why I chose them as the artist of the day. To be honest I have two good reasons why them.
      First of all: music because music is always the most important thing. Every song by them is a great mix of perfect and awesome things like rhythms and lyrics, and when you listen to their songs you want to say "that's cool" or "woow!". Simple, isn't it? Fresh sounds and cool lyrics - that's why you want to listen more and more music made by them. Ladies and Gents, this is Brick + Mortar.
      Another reason why are genres of their music. I think that all of us are sick because the same "radio songs" with pop, pop/rock or alternative rock sounds. Sometimes it's too much of it. And that's why songs by Brick + Mortar are so damn good - because they are something fresh and unique nowadays. Hell yeah!
     I can say only one thing: damn! Why? Because their music can change your mood, your day. I'm pretty sure that these songs will be the best thing to listen to every day, not only this Summer or this year. Always.
     Be honest, can't wait for new & cool music by them, because as for me they're just excellent. Also I wish all the best to them and of course I'm keeping my fingers crossed for their future, because they are very talented and I know that they will surprise us yet.
    And better remember name of this duo: Brick + Mortar.

Artist of the day : Echosmith.

      Today I would like to recommend you the music of this great band, so Ladies and Gents, better make some noise for Echosmith, because they're really cool and I'm sure you will fall in love with their music.
    Are you ready?

Echosmith is an alternative / pop / rock /indie pop band from Los Angeles [USA] formed in 2009 by Sydney Sierota [lead vocals], Jamie Sierota [guitars/ vocals], Noah Sierota [bass/ vocals] and Graham Sierota [drums].
Amongst their inspiration we can find, f.e.: Coldplay, Echo & the Bunnymen, The Smiths, U2, Joy Division, and Fleetwood Mac.
They have two EPs: "Summer Sampler" [2013] and "Acoustic Dreams" [2014]. Their debut album "Talking Dreams" was released on October 2013.

    Probably you are thinking now "ok, but this is the next indie band, so what is new this time?" Maybe you are right, maybe this is only a band with the next indie pop rock songs. But you know what? They are so damn good. They have something what makes them so perfect - huge talent and great music. Young blood. And that's the best. And that's why I chose Echosmith.
     That's why I'm here now and I'm writing all these words, because I want to recommend you another excellent band, and I'm sure you will like them and their music.
Sometimes you have such a feeling that the music sounds the same. But not this time. This time we have a chance to get to know something new, fresh, nice. Just something good. Every of their song is something so damn good from beginning to end and with every next song you want more and more.
     Every song is unique with excellent lyrics and perfect sounds. Also I think that there's something between lyrics, music and the band who made it. Magnetism. Because when you're listen to any song by them, you have something like 'wooow!' in your mind.
    I think that everyone will find something good in their music. Why? Because all of their songs are a great piece of music. I'm sure that if you like this kind of music, mix of rock, pop and indie, you will find your own world in their music - simple, isn't it?
      Also I'm pretty sure that if you like or love such a mix of music, indie / pop / rock, their music will be just perfect for you. I'm sure you will fall in love with Echosmith.
    Why I know it? Why I'm sure that you will love it? Think, what's better than mix of perfect sounds, all these super things of the band which I already wrote and your feeling when the song ends and you must play it again because you want more and more? Here's your answer.
      I can say one thing - they're so damn good!   
 
    As for me, their music is something good, something what you can listen all day long because it gives you joy. Yes, in my opinion music by Echosmith is a real music, something fresh and unique. And that's why I can't wait for more music by them.
    Also I wish all the best to them and of course I'm keeping my fingers crossed for their future, because they are very talented and I know that they will surprise us yet.

Artist of the day : Haerts.

     Ladies and Gents, today I would like to recommend you the music of this great band -  Haerts. I'm sure you will become a fan of their music. Are you ready?

 Haerts is an American indie pop/  band from Brooklyn, New York,[USA] formed in 2010 by Nini Fabi [vocals], Ben Gebert [keyboards], Garrett Ienner [guitar] and Derek McWilliams [bass].

Their debut album "Haerts" was released on October 2014. Their EP "Hemiplegia" was released on October 2013.

 Why I chose Haerts as the artist of the day?
     Because of their music. It's a great mix of indie pop and synthpop. As for me their songs are a great piece of music. Every song is something new, something fresh, epic. Something what you can love and call cool, real music. Maybe this is the reason of this perfection.
     When you are listening to them, especially Nini's voice, there's something what makes you happy in some way, something what gives you a piece of good real music. And that's really amazing.
   Every song sung by Nini sounds really wonderful, maybe even like heaven.I think that when you will listen to their music you will exactly know how to describe Haerts and their work.
Yes, they're unique.
     Anyway, I'm pretty sure you will fall in love with their songs and you will find your own world in them music.
    On their album, "Haerts", we can find 10 great tracks with super music and excellent lyrics. 10 tracks which give you something more than only the music, but also an amazing climate of every song and just perfect vocal.
    The best fact is that they're the same great on live performances as on the album. You can check it f.e. on YouTube, but of course it would be better if you could check it at any their show.
  Yes, everything what they do is just perfect and that's really awesome.

       As for me, their music is something good, something what you can listen all day long because it gives you joy. Now, I'm waiting for more music by Haerts, because as for me they're just excellent. Also I wish all the best to them and of course I'm keeping my fingers crossed for their future, because they are very talented and I know that they will surprise us yet.
  
    I think you should check it to judge, is it for you or not, but I'm sure that if you love, or only like, any of these kinds of music, you will like Haerts - there is no other way.

Artist of the day : Michael Kilbey.

    Today I would like to recommend you the music of this nice man, Michael Kilbey. His music is just so great and I'm pretty sure you will become a fan of his music and his voice

Michael Kilbey is a musician, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (f.e. guitar, bass, oboe, piano) from London [UK].  His music is a great mix of folk, rock, pop and indie pop. Amongst his songs you can find covers and also his own songs.

     Why I chose Michael as today's artist of the day? For sure because of his voice and own songs. As you all know, it's always great to hear something new and something with soul and heart. His songs have it all. The same is with covers. Music made by him is nice, easy. Just amazing.
    When you are listening to Michael, there's something what gives you a piece of good and real music, full of emotions, words and amazing sounds, and that's really cool.     
    In my opinion this kind of music is one of the best, because you can get to know the artist and his talent. And he has it - huge talent.

     The best is the fact that every song sung by him, no matter is it a cover of his own song, is something new, something fresh, epic. Something what you can love and call a real music. Maybe this is the reason of this perfection.

    Pure perfection? Yes, because every song sung by him sounds really wonderful, maybe even like heaven. I think that when you will listen to the music you will exactly know how to describe him and his work. And that's why I'm pretty sure you will fall in love with his voice and his songs and you will find your own world in his music.

   Ok, I'm writing and writing only words, but it will be better if you will listen to these cool songs and then you will be able to judge, is it for you or not. I'm sure that it will be ideal for you, and you will say: damn, I love it!

James Bay is a young singer / songwriter from Hitchin [UK]. He has three EPs: debut acoustic EP "The Dark of The Morning" [July 2013], "Demos" [2014] and EP "Let It Go" [May 2014]. He was a support for Tom Odell, John Newman and Kodaline.

     Why I chose him? Because of a few reasons. Because there's something in his songs that you want to listen to it all the time. Because every of his song is a piece of great music.Yes, everything what his is doing it's always like a mix of everything the best. Because of his remarkable vioce - oh yes. Because of songs, lyrics - for sure. Words and sounds in every song are just perfect.

    When you are listening to James there's something what gives you a piece of good and real music, full of emotions, words and amazing sounds, and that's really cool. That's why I can't wait for more music by him. I'm sure it will be something so good like previous songs.

     I think that if you like this kind of music as his wonderful songs, you will find your own world in his music. James is giving us something new, fresh, great. Something what you can love and call beautiful and real music.


     To be honest, I fell in love with his music after the first seconds from "The Dark of The Morning" EP [5 tracks] - "Move Together". Later was only better and better, but not only on this EP but also on "Demos" and finally on "Let It Go". His newest EP "Let It Go" [4 tracks] shows that he's really talented, and I'm sure you will like in the same as the first one.
