Meeting with...Ania Rusowicz.

Ania Rusowicz is a Polish singer, who released two albums: "Mój Big-Bit"/ "My Big-Bit" [2011] with bigbit music and pop songs; and "Genesis" [2013] with retro pop and psychedelic.



 



     The meeting was today, August 3, in Gdańsk before her today's show in this city at the St. Dominic's Fair at 9PM.
A few minutes after 3PM [ok, a bit more than only a few] Ania came and the meeting began.
     During all these words, questions and answers, was a bit aboout music, about her new album "Genesis" [2013], the future and the past, her life and about the life as an artist and of course something about the next album. Yes, the next album, as she said, probably will be something like autumn 2015, and as she promised it will be something new, something different than last two albums. So we will see.
    The meeting was really nice and...short, to be honest. Maybe the reason was  the fact that only a few people came to meet her.
As always Ania was such a lovely person who has time to take a photo and even talk a bit after the official conversation. That's always so kind.

Magdalena Witkiewicz in Ciechocinek.

    And again it was a great meeting with one and only Ms Magdalena Witkiewicz. In my opinion it was one of the best meeting with her and the reason waas the place of this meeting - small but really nice library... Ok, let's start from the beginning.


Magdalena Witkiewicz is a Polish writer and graduate of, f.e. the University of Gdańsk. She wrote and published eight books for adults: Milaczek [2008; second edition 2013], Panny Roztropne [2009; second edition 2013], Opowieść niewiernej [2011], Ballada o ciotce Matyldzie [2013], Szkoła żon [2013], Zamek z piasku [2013], and also for children: Lilka i spółka [2013]. Her book Szkoła żon / School of Wives was published in Vietnam and the title of this book is "TRƯỜNG HỌC CHO CÁC BÀ VỢ" [2014].      The meeting was supposed to be in the small city - Ciechocinek. To be honest, Ciechocinek just a small, spa town. You can find more info about the city here.

      This meeting in Ciechocinek was a bit different than previous becausse of: place, people, atmosphere and free conversation between her and people who came there.
     People who came there should be really happy because of the fact that Ms Witkiewicz did a great travel also to the past and also to the future. She talked about her history as a writer; about her all books, stories in these books and the reasons why show wrote them; about her travel to Vietnam where she was this year because of her book, Szkoła żon / School of Wives, which was published there ["TRƯỜNG HỌC CHO CÁC BÀ VỢ"]; and also she told a bit about her future books and plans for next months. 
     The meeting was full not only of "lecture" of her life and books but also she said a lot of funny things and stories which happened during her travels, writing of books and just during all these years. And of course don't forget about questions from fans. 
    
     You know, I was in a few meetings with her and always I'm surprised because of moods and questions from the fans. It's always the best to see and hear what other people think about her and her works.

     Simple, these two hours was just so good, and I don't regret that I went there, even if it was [the meeting and the city] 170 kilometres from my city. It was worthwhile. And I'm pretty sure that it wasn't the last time when I went to the meeting with Magdalena Witkiewicz. Also I just can't wait for more new books by Ms Witkiewicz.

  And remember - if you will be able to go and meet her, do it! You won't regret it, trust me.

Thirty Seconds To Mars in Rybnik [part 2]

       Finally, tt happened!
   After four days after the show, I got my photo from the meeting with Tomo and Jared before their show in Rybnik, Poland [June 22 2014]. And also on their official page you can find a great photo with Jared and the crowd.
    Anyway, I still have hope that the next time I will meet the whole band - Shannon, Jared and Tomo.

   So who was such a lucky devil as I and met [or will meet] them during this tour?

Meeting with Magdalena Witkiewicz.

I know, I know - I'm a bad person because I'm writing about it almost two weeks after [please, forgive me it], but at least I'm doing it.

As you remember or maybe not, a few weeks ago I wrote about other meetng with her and a bit about  Magdalena Witkiewicz and you can still find it here.
Anyway, Magdalena Witkiewicz is a Polish writer who came to that meeting because of her newest book - "Pensjonat Marzeń" ["Pension of the Dreams"].

I know, it's badly to write and talk about everything [meeting and the book] if you don't know about what I'm talking now, you know - about what her books are. I think it will be better if I'll show you some pics from there and later I'll write about some of her books.

It was really nice to met her again and talk about her book and plans for the future. I hope I'll see her again soon.
