Łódź [ pronunciation:
wooch ], is the third-largest city in Poland and is located in the central part of the country. the best places there: Piotrkowska Street (ulica Piotrkowska) and Manufaktura. first, Piotrkowska Street, is the main artery and attraction stretching north to south for a little over five kilometres, making it (one of) the longest commercial streets in the world (crazy, isn't it?). a few of the building fronts have been renovated and date back to the 19th century. the second thing - Manufaktura - the largest mall in Łódź. in historic buildings and newly bulit facilities sperad over 27 hectares you'll find 306 shops, 4 museums, restaurants, bowling alley, cinema (with 15 screens), hotel, disco, the market square 'Rynek', craftsman's alley, the longest fountain in Europe at 300m (with its Light and Sound spectacular) and a 3.5 hectare Market Square in the center of Manufactura. i can say that you can live there because you have everything there ;)
but i must to say that the 3rd the best place there is... Atlas Arena! yes, yes, yes - here you willhave a wonderful moments f.e. at the concert :)
