Warmia & Masuria [day 2]

Ok, 2nd day was a bit wild and a bit calm, think so. Why? Because we went to a nature reserve with wild animals in Mazurski Park Krajobrazowy [Masurian Landscape Park - more about it: X], near Kadzidłowo. It was about 140 kilometres from place where we rented house, but it was really worthwhile to go there. You can read a bit more here : X .

In a nature reserve you can be really close with wild animans and even can stroke there (of course not all of them), and that's just so cool.

And of course you're in the middle of an amazing place - Masurian Landscape Park. Just like paradise.

Warmia & Masuria [day 1]

So it's time to show you and say something more about my trip. Let's start about 1st day of my short travel to Warmia & Masuria.

 ↑ What to do when, you're going through forest and it's dark as shit and you don't know where exactly go? Use your mobile to light your way ;)

First day was, mmm, interesting, be honest. We were in two towns - Olsztynek and Gietrzwałd. First one,
Olsztynek, we visited because of "Muzeum Budownictwa Ludowego" ["The Museum of Folk Architecture"] in Olsztynek. This Museum was scenery of Polish movie "Kołysanka" ["Lullaby"] - great comedy about vampires. [more info: X ].

 

Gietrzwałd is a small village near Olsztyn, Olsztynek and Ostróda - as for me it's a great place when you want to meet some nice people and eat great, regional food and drink regional beer in Karczma Warmińska [more info: X ].

To be honest, no matter where you will go there, if it will be a big city or small village, trust me, you'll have a great time there and you'll meet a nice people. And these views... :)

Food? Regional, traditionally, sometimes modernly, but always tasty.

Postcard from my last travel - Warmia & Masuria

As you heard, or maybe not, from August 26 to August 28 I was in the most beautiful (in my opinion) part of Poland - Warmia and Mazury / Warmia and Masuria. Land of green.

Warmia  is a region between Pomerelia and Masuria in northeastern Poland. Together with Masuria, it forms the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
Masuria is a natural region in northeastern Poland famous for its 2,000 lakes. Geographically, Masuria is part of two adjacent lakeland districts, the Masurian Lake District and the Iława Lake District.

Amazing views, great places, delicious food, nice people, secrets...and many more. Yes, Warmia and Masuria = huge and beautiful land of green forests, meadows and lakes. You can be here more close the nature and wild animals than in any other area of Poland, and that's just perfect.

Ok, maybe some of you are thinking "sure, but only 3 days? that's nothing" and of course you're right, but trust me, if you really want to have a great time and see everything, what you want, you can do it.
