               Hello warm days & hot nights!
     I don't know why but last time I wonder is it really Summertime or maybe Spring or Autumn. Sure life and the weather - two not perfect things in our times. And that's why we need some good music, positive vibrations to enjoy every moment. Our mood and imaginations are the only limit.
    Great days and nights full of awesome memories and only good sounds perfect, isn't it? Who wants to dance all night long, walk in the moonlight, spend time on the beach, or just have a great time with friends or be a part of amazing moments and trips or remarkable travel? And that's why we have Summer!
    This time I chose music not only about the sun and summer, but also songs with great beat; songs giving you fun. And that feeling that you want to dance and scream. That you want to live. Music full of sunny songs, sounds full of sunshine, freedom and smile. Artist of the day : Brick + Mortar.

     Today I would like to recommend you the music of a great duo Brick + Mortar. I'm pretty sure that you will like them because their music is really awesome. Ready to rock with Brick + Mortar? Ladies and Gents, here we go!


Brick + Mortar is an indie rock / indie pop duo from Asbury Park, NJ [USA] formed by Brandon Asraf [guitar / bass / vocals / samples] and John Tacon [drums / vocals / samples] in 2010. They have two EPs: "7 Years in the Mystic Room EP" [2010] and "Bangs EP" [2013]. Amongst their inspiration we can find, f.e.: Dinosaur Pile Up, Anthony Green, Circa Survive, Good Old War, Manchester Orchestra, Kongos, Vacationer, mewithoutyou, Cage the Elephant, Walk The Moon, Bad Suns.

   Brick + Mortar...who? Why?
       Probably you are thinking now "this is just the next indie pop rock band, so what is new this time?" and maybe you are right. Maybe this is only a duo with the next indie pop rock songs but their songs aren't the same as the other. They are better. This is not the only reason why I chose them as the artist of the day. To be honest I have two good reasons why them.
      First of all: music because music is always the most important thing. Every song by them is a great mix of perfect and awesome things like rhythms and lyrics, and when you listen to their songs you want to say "that's cool" or "woow!". Simple, isn't it? Fresh sounds and cool lyrics - that's why you want to listen more and more music made by them. Ladies and Gents, this is Brick + Mortar.
      Another reason why are genres of their music. I think that all of us are sick because the same "radio songs" with pop, pop/rock or alternative rock sounds. Sometimes it's too much of it. And that's why songs by Brick + Mortar are so damn good - because they are something fresh and unique nowadays. Hell yeah!
     I can say only one thing: damn! Why? Because their music can change your mood, your day. I'm pretty sure that these songs will be the best thing to listen to every day, not only this Summer or this year. Always.
     Be honest, can't wait for new & cool music by them, because as for me they're just excellent. Also I wish all the best to them and of course I'm keeping my fingers crossed for their future, because they are very talented and I know that they will surprise us yet.
    And better remember name of this duo: Brick + Mortar.
